📚 First Week updates! 📚 

It has been a great week at St. Gregory!  Everyone is slowly settling in to new routines.

Reminder:

• There is no access to our front laneway, or any of our parking lots!  This is very important for student and adult safety.

▶️ We are excited that we will be getting a new play structure installed in our yard.  For now, we have had to give up a little bit of our play space.  This short term inconvenience will be worth it!

▶️ Thank you to School Council!  We now have wonderful benches that the students can sit on and enjoy at recess time.  We are so thankful!

▶️ We now have a digital sign-in and sign-out for students, please bring a device.  You can even bookmark the link!

Please sign up for School Cash Online.  This is where you will pay for school lunches and events.  We will also do permission forms this way!

School Bus Information:

Please sign up for the Parent Portal on OSTA’s website for frequent updates about buses and bus routes.

OCSB Parent Portal:

Please sign up for Parent Portal with the OCSB. This is where you will access report cards and other important information.  

Parent Volunteers:

Acceptable Use of Technology Form:

Please review with your child and complete the Acceptable use of Technology online submission, this is required before your child can use a device at school.  Instructions can be found here

St. Gregory School Council:

Please consider joining our School Council!

It is a place where parents can come together and discuss the current events taking place in the school and support the school by creating activities for the children in the future.

Labeling Items

Every year many items end up in the lost and found, and end up unclaimed. We suggest making sure that EVERYTHING (shoes, backpack, lunch kit and containers, water bottle, pencil case, boots, jackets, hats, mitts, hoodies, etc…) your child brings to school is labeled so that everything makes it home at the end of the day/week/year!

9:15 - 10:30am

Morning Recess

10:30 - 10:45am

(outdoor recess - please avoid student pickup at this time)

Block 2

10:45 - 12:00pm

Lunch

12:00 - 12:20pm (indoor lunch)

12:20 - 1:00pm 

(outdoor recess - please avoid student pickup at this time)

Block 3

1:00 - 2:15pm 

Afternoon Recess

2:15 - 2:30pm

Block 4

2:30 - 3:45pm

**For safety reasons please avoid student pick-ups at the office after 3:30pm

➡️  We are still hard at work on class lists and class placements.  On Friday the office will send out a message to inform you of your child's homeroom teacher.  Teachers will then reach out on Monday.  ⬅️
